Faye Pettigrew is Principal for a day

On Wednesday, November 7th Tyler Independent School District sponsored the “Principal for a Day” Program. This annual program invites a community member to job shadow all of our Tyler ISD Principals at each campus. Tyler Pipe HR Manager Faye Pettigrew was invited to serve as the principal at Moore MST Magnet School and job shadowed Principal Lane. Faye had a great time and enjoyed learning about renewable resources in science class. Faye is originally from Abilene, Texas and was able to share some of her experiences growing up and seeing wind mills becoming prominent in West Texas as an energy source.

The day was special for Faye since her grandson Jayden plays the trombone in the band and plays on the 7th grade football team.
