Manchester Tank Crossville plans a surprise for the team

Manchester Tank in Crossville, Tennessee held a shelter drill “with a twist” on August 21. Team members responded to the shelter alarm and assembled in the lobby where they were surprised to find safety approved eclipse glasses. After the shelter drill was completed, the eclipse glasses were distributed and team members got to witness the totality portion of the eclipse.

Crossville was in the direct path of totality!  Nicole Mullins said, “It was very neat as it suddenly got dark, crickets started chirping, and stars and planets were visible before suddenly returning to light again.  The corona was visible, and so were the snake like shadows on the concrete.”
